Overview
The Tentacle or Hanging Shock Fence is a suspended energized perimeter system in which electrically isolated conductors are positioned vertically or at a specified angle from a supporting structure. The hanging configuration provides an additional vertical or outward-facing barrier and can be customized according to the target animal, existing boundary structure, required height, and site conditions. It can be installed using dedicated support posts or mounted on suitable existing concrete compound walls.
Typical Construction
- Supporting posts or existing structural supports
- Hanging support arms or brackets
- Energized conductors
- Electrical insulators
- Support and tensioning components
- High-voltage connection cables
- Earthing/grounding system
- Monitoring system, where specified
